[FOR LEGACY] Here are tips and tricks for how to use discounts.

We've learned over and over again that every practice and its clientele are different. Therefore, we give providers complete autonomy to do any discounts they want. Providers just need to mindful about hitting the price floor overall each month and providers can see the price floor for each product in the Price List page in the EHR to ensure they are making the right discounting choice.

Since providers charge different prices for things, there's no way for us to make a one-size-fits-all pre-approved discount list. A provider who charges the absolute minimum on each product does not have any room for further discounting, whereas a provider who charges 25% above the floor price on products could discount everything by 25%.

If you go below the price floor on one transaction but make it up on another, it does not result in any kind of deduction to your pay.

Any usage of sample products is completely at your discretion and can be used to provide more service to clients at a lower overall cost. For example, doing 40 units of toxin at full price and 10 units of naive toxin is equivalent to a 20% discount. Please do not ever charge for sample products.

There are a small number of pre-populated discounts that are used for "Non-Commission-Eligible" discounts. Feel free to use these as desired:

  • Model Discount (No Commission) - 50%
  • Personal Use (No Commission) - 50%
  • Other (No Commission) - 50%
  • Other (No Commission) - 25%

For any "Commission-Eligible" discount, put in the Custom Discount as you see fit.
