Ship-To Accounts and Supplier Policies - General FAQs

As a Portrait Provider, how can I have a new Ship-To account created under Portrait’s Parent (Sold-To) account?

 

Before Portrait can create new Ship-To accounts for you, any existing pharmaceutical Ship-To accounts must first be closed. This is a requirement from suppliers, as they allow only one account per address.

Steps to close your existing Ship-To accounts:

  1. Contact your representative or call the supplier directly to request the closure of your current account:

    • Allergan: Call 1-844-246-2461
    • Galderma: Call 1-844-425-3376
    • Merz: Call 1-844-469-6379
  2. Once your account is closed, Portrait can proceed with creating the new Ship-To accounts under our Parent (Sold-To) account.

 

What documentation do I need to verify my address when creating a new Ship-To account?

When setting up a new Ship-To account, you will need to provide address verification documentation. Acceptable forms of documentation include:

  • Full lease agreement with the full business name, shipping address, and signed by both the lessor and lessee.
  • Utility bill showing the full business name and shipping address.
  • Invoice with the full business name and shipping address (such as a purchase order, moving invoice, business taxes, etc.).
  • Picture of the outside of the building clearly showing the full business name and shipping address.

Evolus Account Creation Policy

According to Evolus’s policy, if you have a current account with them and have placed orders within the last year, you will need to wait one year before you can open a new account. This is a mandatory waiting period.

Medical Director 

Each Ship-To account with Portrait will be associated with a Portrait-partnered Medical Director (MD). Most commonly, the name you'll see listed is Dr. Jonathan Snipes.

Please note, this is not the same as your supervising MD and should not cause any inconvenience to your practice.

 


 

Residential Shipping

Certain suppliers will allow shipments to a residential address. The following suppliers are approved for residential shipping:

  • Evolus (requires additional form)
  • Medline
  • Merz
  • Olympia Pharmacy

For suppliers that do not ship to residential addresses, alternative solutions may need to be considered.

 


 

Rewards Programs (Alle/Aspire/Xperience+/Evolus)

If you would like to enroll in rewards programs such as Alle, Aspire, Xperience+, or Evolus, Portrait's Operations Team will handle the enrollment process for you. Simply let your Operations Manager know which rewards programs you’d like to join, or submit a ticket through our Help Center.

 


 

Important Notes:

  • Account Creation Timeframe: After your existing Ship-To account is closed, the creation of your new Ship-To account may take up to 2 weeks. While sometimes faster, please ensure you have sufficient inventory on hand during this transition period to avoid any disruptions.
  • Address Verification: Make sure to provide the necessary address verification documentation (e.g., lease, utility bill) when setting up a new Ship-To account.
