When using Financing programs: PatientFi, Alle Cherry and CareCredit there are a couple restrictions on scenarios in which you will not be able to use the financing program at checkout
These financing programs cannot be used when:
a) Checkout is being processed ONLY for pre-paid services (any amount).
b) There's discounts being applied to an amount equal or lower than $750.
You cannot use a financing program for transactions that have discounts being applied to an amount equal or lower than $750.
If you already have processed an amount through the financing program portal, your only options would be:
- to refund that transaction and ask the patient to pay for this with a credit card,
- or otherwise inform them that you cannot apply a discount to their treatment if they are paying with a financing program
