Need a GFE for one of your patients and you need someone licensed to process it? We have a solution for you!
First you need to set up your GFE preferences in the upper right corner dropdown under "GFE Management" tab.
You need to select one of the following options:
If you have the first option on ("Do Not Route"), then you need to always click on "Request GFE" (as explained below).
If you have the second or third option on ("Own Clearing Provider" or "Portrait Clearing Services") then you don't need to click on "Request GFE" every time, because all pending GFEs will be routed automatically to the Clearing Provider or Portrait's medical team, depending on which option is selected.
But you can always still click it to upgrade it to "Urgent GFE" status and pay the extra fee for it.

"Request GFE" button in patient profile
When you access a patient's profile in the upper right corner you will find a "Request GFE" button that will allow you to trigger a request to Portrait's medical team for a GFE (Good Faith Examination) to be processed for your patient.
This is because your current settings under the GFE Management tab are set to "Own clearing provider".
You will see that these two options explain that "All GFE requests will be automatically routed..."
You will still have the ability to request an Urgent GFE from Portrait at the standard fee in the event your Clearing Provider cannot complete a GFE in time.
If you look into the patient profile's "Activity log" section at the bottom, you will probably see "clearance requested" listed already. It's because the GFE has been already routed to the clearing physician or Portrait clearing team, depending on which option is marked in the GFE Management tab.
Please don't click on urgent GFE unless it's needed.
