Budget based inventory is 100% optional for Legacy Providers looking for more control
If you would like more control over your inventory ordering, budget based inventory might be for you. Here is how it works:
- You will be given a dollar amount of product that you are able to keep hand and you can order whatever you like with the remaining budget.
- Your budget is based upon the size of your practice and how many upcoming appointments you have.
- As long as you have the budget you can order whatever products you would like.
If you would like to opt into this budget based approach, please submit a ticket and let the inventory team know. The inventory team will share the budget available to you and let you know how much you can order.
Please note that this data is available to you in the EHR so you will be able to see how much inventory you are holding and how much each order will cost.
