SpaKinect Information - Legacy

Information Guide for utilizing SpaKinect with the Legacy Portrait Platform

OVERVIEW & PURPOSE

This collaboration was created between Portrait Legacy and SpaKinect to ensure we had another option available for obtaining patient clearances. These clearances are live, in or out of office, and take a total of 5 minutes to receive a clearance. SpaKinect pricing is 100% covered by Portrait Legacy.

ITEMS TO NOTE

  1. We are asking all Legacy RN’s to sign up with an account, just in case.
  2. Portrait is covering the cost.
  3. The Portrait medical team is still available for clearances, SpaKinect is just a bonus!
  4. Our current EHR is not linked to SpaKinect. 
    1. The first two pages of the SpaKinect report will need to be added as photos to the patient EHR profile.
    2. They will still need to be cleared in our EHR to close out the visit.
    3. PCCs will have availability to mark patients as cleared in EHR, strictly based off SpaKinect clearance.
    4. To collect payment, if EHR clearance is not available, then utilize the account credit option to collect payment. Apply the credit to the visit after clearance.
  5. The contract with SpaKinect needs to be signed for usage, but does not lock you into a timed contract with Portrait or SpaKinect. 
  6. Medical Directors are required to sign a PSA as well.

OBJECTIVES

  1. Create an alternative process for urgent clearances.
  2. Enhance the Legacy offering.
  3. A quicker and easier way to obtain clearances, in-office or in the comfort of the patients home.

SPAKINECT NOTES

  1. If a patient is using a translator, the translator must physically be in the room with the patient. 
  2. Recommends changing your logo and video background to your office for consistency of service.
  3. Create service groups of the common services that you will want patients cleared for. This creates an easier/quicker process for you to obtain a clearance.
    1. 11 different treatments available for clearances at a time.
  4. Review the bottom left corner of the portal for hours of availability.
  5. The clearance process will take about 5 minutes all in all. Please account for the additional time in your appointments calendar.
